WFTS News & Announcements - Updated 5/09/08
Piano Music Added...A little change of pace has been added to
WFTS with our "easy" music between programs. Many of you have emailed
me with positive feedback concerning this new addition. I did make a one
time purchase for the music. The music is "Royalty Free" and I have no
sheet music or composer information for it. Also, the way the music portion
of the program is set up, the songs are rotated by the computer. If you ask,
"what was the song played right after the Rosary on Thursday", I have no
way of knowing. Being an Internet Radio Station, we do not have to keep a
log of what we air.
We will continue to make WFTS a pleasurable listening experience for the
whole family. Your "safe haven" where you are not worried for yourself or
family what you will hear next.
Thank You... I would like to thank everyone who supported us in our
"time of need" a few weeks ago. It helped us tremendously and took a
burden off of me. We even picked up a new monthly supporter from
Canada. Our first "foreign" monthly supporter. I try to keep a "call for funds"
to a minimum. No one knows more than me how tough times are now with
gasoline, etc., going through the roof. Again, I thank you for your very kind
support. May God Bless You All....
St. Hilliary's - Baltimore. I will be making my way to Baltimore on
May 18 to visit with the good people of that chapel & attending Mass. WFTS
has a large listener audience in that area and I am looking forward to visiting
and putting faces to emails. Even if you cannot make it to lunch after Mass, I
would very much like to meet you and say hello. It will be a special treat for
me. My sons' "Rusty" & Joseph (my bodyguards) will make the trip also.
A Bishop's Low Mass. We video recorded a Mass offered by Bishop
Santay on February 9, 2008 and is now available on DVD. We basically
used the same audio system as the one we used in the audio Mass that we
play everyday at WFTS. Audio quality is EXCELLENT! You won't be
disappointed. More information, CLICK HERE.
